Project Education Plus Launches Senior Fitness
Program at St. Matthew Church
Project Education Plus (PEP), in partnership with St. Matthew Church, proudly celebrated the grand opening and ribbon-cutting of its new Senior Fitness Program. The event welcomed 20 seniors from the community, all of whom attended the launch and signed up to participate in the program.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the beginning of a new opportunity for older adults to prioritize their health and wellness in a supportive, community-centered environment. Participants were introduced to the program’s brand-new Peloton bikes and fitness equipment, which will provide seniors with access to low-impact cardiovascular exercise, guided workouts, and opportunities to stay active year-round.
“We are excited to partner with St. Matthew Church to bring this program to our seniors,” said PEP leadership. “This initiative is about more than fitness—it’s about creating a space where older adults can improve their health, build connections, and enjoy an enhanced quality of life.”
The strong turnout and immediate enrollment demonstrate the community’s enthusiasm for programs that promote healthy aging and active living. PEP and St. Matthew Church look forward to serving even more seniors as the program continues to grow.
